A wonderful experience is a half day or full day at nature’s own spa, the hot springs twenty minutes from Barefeet Heaven Hill Naturist Resort. The full name is Kantang Hot Spring Forest Park Thailand or Khuan Khaeng Hot Springs but people here just call it “Bor Nam Ron” meaning ‘pond water hot.’
We went here already on the first day when we had just signed the rental contract of the resort.
The Royal Forest Department established it to be a Forest Park on June 9th, 2006. It is well known among local people and tourists; therefore, it became a destination for visitors to Trang Province and for people who care about their health. What health benefits the water has is not clear, but there is a sign advising not to stay over 20 minutes in the water.
We slept like babies after the visit – which was what an old lady in the pool said was the reason she visited the springs.
We also had a peak into one of the bath houses which are available for rent. They can take up to four people and cost 100 baht to rent. Amazing offer! Inside, we were of course naked. Outside we were shorts and t-shirts, but most of the old people wore a pakaoma or sarong. We will do that next time.
Bring your own towels.
Go for a walk on the elevated tree top walk and enjoy the strange environment with orchids and insect eating plants the size if your fist.

I found the flora fascinating and could have spent more time exploring that.
